Zero Point collaboration began in June 2006 as a large group of people based across the UK who agreed to explore how a collaboration could be negotiated when both the group and the project started at 'zero'. The process began a regular monthly physical meeting, and has evolved to incorporate a weekly online forum meeting. Zero Point collaborators currently comprise: Ana Benlloch, Ellie Harrison, Matt Lewis, Niki Russell, Stuart Tait and Dan Williamson. No projects outside of the group and its meetings are currently planned.

Each year the collaboration has an Annual General Meeting (AGM). The first was held on the 18th July 2007 at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design and the second on 14th July 2008 at Nottingham Trent University. The date and location of the 2009 AGM is still being discussed. These meetings are transcribed in full for posterity, currently the 2007 transcription is awaiting a final formatting.
